Here is a project that fills me with satisfaction.
The brief was for an ‘elevator pitch’ AV about Jameson Black Barrel. An educational piece for the global sales and marketing teams.
The project sparks up my brain cells and I imagine:
If internal stakeholders are in need of product education content, chances are that the same could translate with their consumers.
A win-win scenario; an internal AV with a consumer facing treatment to boot. This of course wasn’t in the original brief, but the concept had legs to carry it further.
The result? The treatment has now been adopted for use in Jameson brand home experiences, Global Travel Retail at airports and in discussions for use on social for the South African market.
My advice is to always push yourself and elevate your ideas.
Brand Home Adoption
The award winning Jameson Whiskey Distillery in Dublin was creating a new visitor experience. The treatment was perfect for this and was adopted for an extreme landscape wall sized see-through screen. Eye-popping stuff!
Airport Adoption
Jameson was launching the “Tastehouse” experience/store in Dublin Airport. The treatment was able to be adopted for screens in portrait orientation for eye catching content.
Convenient thinking
I’ve seen brands in the past run into difficulties and take the hit because a campaign didn’t fit across various touch-points.
Trying to cut and resize a costly TVC into web banners, extreme digital formats or even print. Eventually you need to either reshoot or reanimate.
I wanted this approach to easily adapt for any two-dimensional canvas.
